¹⁸ Therefore ^(A)I will act in wrath. ^(B)My eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. ^(C)And though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.”

¹¹ Therefore, thus says the Lord, Behold, I am bringing disaster upon them that they cannot escape. ^(A)Though they cry to me, I will not listen to them.

^13 (A)“As I^[a] called, and they would not hear, ^(B)so they called, and I would not hear,” says the Lord of hosts,

¹⁰ As for me, ^(A)my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity; ^(B)I will bring their deeds upon their heads.”

^4 (A)And my eye will not spare you, nor will I have pity, but ^(B)I will punish you for your ways, while your abominations are in your midst. ^(C)Then you will know that I am the Lord.

⁵ “Thus says the Lord God: Disaster ^(D)after disaster!^[a] Behold, it comes. ^6 (E)An end has come; the end has come; it has awakened against you. Behold, it comes. ^7 (F)Your doom^[b] has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. ^(G)The time has come; the day is near, a day of tumult, and not ^(H)of joyful shouting on the mountains. ⁸ Now I will soon ^(I)pour out my wrath upon you, and ^(J)spend my anger against you, ^(K)and judge you according to your ways, and I will punish you for all your abominations. ^9 (L)And my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. I will punish you according to your ways, while your abominations are in your midst. ^(M)Then you will know that I am the Lord, who strikes.

¹³ Yet you have ^(A)forsaken me and served other gods; therefore I will save you no more. ¹⁴ Go and cry out ^(B)to the gods whom you have chosen; let them save you in the time of your distress.”
