⁶ He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he brought me and returned me to the bank of the river.

⁵ And the Lord said to me, ^(A)“Son of man, ^[a]mark well, see with your eyes and hear with your ears, all that I say to you concerning all the ^(B)ordinances of the house of the Lord and all its laws. Mark well who may enter the house and all who go out from the sanctuary.

⁴ And the man said to me, ^(A)“Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears, and ^[a]fix your mind on everything I show you; for you were brought here so that I might show them to you. ^(B)Declare to the house of Israel everything you see.”

² And he said to me, “What do you see?”

So I answered, “I see a flying scroll. Its length is twenty cubits and its width ten cubits.”

² And he said to me, “What do you see?”

So I said, “I am looking, and there is ^(A)a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, ^(B)and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps.

¹⁷ And He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have ^(A)filled the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me to anger. Indeed they put the branch to their nose.

⁶ Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great ^(A)abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.”

¹¹ Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?”

And I said, “I see a ^[a]branch of an almond tree.”

¹² Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ^[b]ready to perform My word.”

¹³ And the word of the Lord came to me the second time, saying, “What do you see?”

And I said, “I see ^(A)a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north.”

^51 [a]Jesus said to them, “Have you understood all these things?”

They said to Him, “Yes, ^[b]Lord.”
