The River From the Temple

47 The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water^(A) coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar.^(B)

Eden Restored

22 Then the angel showed me the river^(A) of the water of life,^(B) as clear as crystal,^(C) flowing^(D) from the throne of God and of the Lamb

⁸ On that day living water^(A) will flow^(B) out from Jerusalem, half of it east^(C) to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.^(D)

Invitation to the Thirsty

¹² Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river.^(A) Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit^(B) fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary^(C) flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.^(D)”

¹⁷ The Spirit^(A) and the bride^(B) say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.^(C)
