¹⁹ And when they go out into the outer court to the people, they shall put off the garments in which they have been ministering ^(A)and lay them in the holy chambers. And ^(B)they shall put on other garments, ^(C)lest they transmit holiness to the people with their garments.

²⁰ And he said to me, “This is the place where the priests ^(A)shall boil the guilt offering and the sin offering, and where ^(B)they shall bake the grain offering, in order not to bring them out into the outer court and so ^(C)transmit holiness to the people.”

²⁷ Whatever touches its flesh shall be holy, and when any of its blood is splashed on a garment, you shall wash that on which it was splashed in a holy place.

¹⁰ And ^(A)the priest shall put on his linen garment and put his linen undergarment on his body, and he shall take up the ashes to which the fire has reduced the burnt offering on the altar and put them ^(B)beside the altar. ¹¹ Then ^(C)he shall take off his garments and put on other garments and carry the ashes ^(D)outside the camp to a clean place.

¹⁷ You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or ^(A)the temple that has made the gold sacred? ¹⁸ And you say, ‘If anyone swears by the altar, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by ^(B)the gift that is on the altar, he is bound by his oath.’ ¹⁹ You blind men! For which is greater, the gift or ^(C)the altar that makes the gift sacred?

²⁹ You shall consecrate them, that they may be most holy. ^(A)Whatever touches them will become holy.

³⁷ Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and consecrate it, and the ^(A)altar shall be most holy. ^(B)Whatever touches the altar shall become holy.

⁵ What then is Apollos? What is Paul? ^(A)Servants through whom you believed, ^(B)as the Lord assigned to each. ^6 (C)I planted, ^(D)Apollos watered, ^(E)but God gave the growth.

¹³ Then he said to me, “The north chambers and the south chambers opposite ^(A)the yard are the holy chambers, ^(B)where the priests who approach the Lord ^(C)shall eat the ^(D)most holy offerings. There they shall put the most holy offerings—^(E)the grain offering, ^(F)the sin offering, and ^(G)the guilt offering—for the place is holy. ¹⁴ When the priests enter the Holy Place, they shall not go out of it into the outer court ^(H)without laying there the garments in which they minister, for these are holy. ^(I)They shall put on other garments before they go near to that which is for the people.”
