⁷ And He said to me, “Son of man, this is ^(A)the place of My throne and ^(B)the place of the soles of My feet, ^(C)where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever. ^(D)No more shall the house of Israel defile My holy name, they nor their kings, by their ^[a]harlotry or with ^(E)the carcasses of their kings on their high places.

⁹ Now let them put their harlotry and the carcasses of their kings far away from Me, and I will dwell in their midst forever.

³ And ^(A)there shall be no more curse, ^(B)but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His ^(C)servants shall serve Him.

³⁹ “As for you, O house of Israel,” thus says the Lord God: ^(A)“Go, serve every one of you his idols—and hereafter—if you will not obey Me; ^(B)but profane My holy name no more with your gifts and your idols.

^26 (A)And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, ^(B)in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above ^(C)it.

Praise to the Lord for His Holiness

² Then King David rose to his feet and said, “Hear me, my brethren and my people: ^(A)I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for ^(B)the footstool of our God, and had made preparations to build it.
