² And behold, ^(A)the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And ^(B)the sound of his coming was like the sound of many waters, and ^(C)the earth shone with his glory.

The Fall of Babylon

18 After this I saw ^(A)another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and ^(B)the earth was made bright with his glory.

²³ And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city and ^(A)stood on the mountain that is on the east side of the city.

³ And one called to another and said:

^18 (A)Then ^(B)the glory of the Lord went out from the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim. ^19 (C)And the cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth ^(D)before my eyes as they went out, with the wheels beside them. And they stood at the entrance of the ^(E)east gate of the house of the Lord, and ^(F)the glory of the God of Israel was over them.

⁴ And ^(A)the glory of the Lord ^(B)went up from the cherub to the threshold of the house, and the house ^(C)was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with ^(D)the brightness of the glory of the Lord.

²⁸ Like the appearance of ^(A)the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around.

Such was the appearance of the likeness of ^(B)the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, ^(C)I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

^15 (A)his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and ^(B)his voice was like the roar of many waters.

²³ So I arose and went out into the valley, and behold, ^(A)the glory of the Lord stood there, like the glory that I had seen ^(B)by the Chebar canal, ^(C)and I fell on my face.
