²² an altar of wood, three cubits high, two cubits long, and two cubits wide;^[a] its corners, its base,^[b] and its walls were of wood. He said to me, “This is the table that stands before the Lord.”^(A)

¹² But you profane it when you say that the Lord’s table is polluted and its food^[a] may be despised.

⁷ By offering polluted food on my altar. And you say, “How have we polluted it?”^[a] By thinking that the Lord’s table may be despised.^(A)

¹⁶ It is they who shall enter my sanctuary; it is they who shall approach my table to minister to me, and they shall keep my charge.

⁴¹ you sat on a stately couch, with a table spread before it on which you had placed my incense and my oil.^(A)

³ Another angel with a golden censer came and stood at the altar; he was given a great quantity of incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that is before the throne.^(A)

²⁰ The interior of the inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and twenty cubits high; he overlaid it with pure gold. He also overlaid the altar with cedar.^[a]

⁶ You shall place them in two rows, six in a row, on the table of pure gold before the Lord.^[a](A)

The Altar of Incense

30 “You shall make an altar on which to offer incense; you shall make it of acacia wood.^{(A) 2} It shall be one cubit long and one cubit wide; it shall be square and shall be two cubits high; its horns shall be of one piece with it. ³ You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top and its sides all around and its horns, and you shall make for it a molding of gold all around.

²⁰ Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you with me.^(A)
