¹⁶ their doorposts and ^(A)the beveled window frames. And the galleries all around their three stories opposite the threshold were paneled with ^(B)wood from the ground to the windows—the windows were covered—

⁴ And he made for the house ^(A)windows with beveled frames.

²⁵ There were windows in it and in its archways all around like those windows; its length was fifty cubits and its width twenty-five cubits.

¹⁶ There were ^(A)beveled window frames in the gate chambers and in their intervening archways on the inside of the gateway all around, and likewise in the vestibules. There were windows all around on the inside. And on each gatepost were ^(B)palm trees.

¹⁵ And he built the inside walls of the temple with cedar boards; from the floor of the temple to the ceiling he paneled the inside with wood; and he covered the floor of the temple with planks of cypress.

¹² For ^(A)now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then ^(B)face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

⁴ “Is it ^(A)time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this ^[a]temple to lie in ruins?”

³ Opposite the inner court of twenty cubits, and opposite the ^(A)pavement of the outer court, was ^(B)gallery against gallery in three stories.

²⁵ Cherubim and palm trees were carved on the doors of the temple just as they were carved on the walls. A wooden canopy was on the front of the vestibule outside. ²⁶ There were ^(A)beveled window frames and palm trees on one side and on the other, on the sides of the vestibule—also on the side chambers of the temple and on the canopies.

⁴ And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.
