²³ Thus I will magnify Myself and ^(A)sanctify Myself, ^(B)and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.” ’

Heaven Exults over Babylon

19 After these things ^(A)I ^[a]heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! ^(B)Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to ^[b]the Lord our God! ² For ^(C)true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He ^(D)has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” ³ Again they said, “Alleluia! ^(E)Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” ⁴ And ^(F)the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, ^(G)“Amen! Alleluia!” ⁵ Then a voice came from the throne, saying, ^(H)“Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, ^(I)both^[c] small and great!”

^6 (J)And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For ^(K)the^[d] Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

¹⁶ You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may ^(A)know Me, when I am ^(B)hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.”

²³ And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am ^(A)hallowed in you before their eyes.

³ They sing ^(A)the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the ^(B)Lamb, saying:

^28 (A)The nations also will know that I, the Lord, ^(B)sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.” ’ ”

^27 (A)When I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and I ^(B)am hallowed in them in the sight of many nations,

¹³ Indeed all the people of the land will be burying, and they will gain ^(A)renown for it on the day that ^(B)I am glorified,” says the Lord God.
