¹⁴ “Therefore, ^(A)son of man, prophesy, and say to ^(B)Gog, Thus says the Lord God: On that day when my people Israel are ^(C)dwelling securely, ^(D)will you not know it?

⁵ And I will be to her ^(A)a wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”

^8 (A)After many days you will be mustered. ^(B)In the latter years you will go against ^(C)the land that is restored from war, the land whose people ^(D)were gathered from many peoples upon ^(E)the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and ^(F)now dwell securely, all of them.

¹¹ and say, ‘I will go up against ^(A)the land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon ^(B)the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,’

⁶ In his days Judah will be saved, and ^(A)Israel will ^(B)dwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: ^(C)‘The Lord is our righteousness.’

⁸ For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me^[a] to the nations who plundered you, ^(A)for he who touches you touches ^(B)the apple of his eye:

²⁸ Then ^(A)the nations will know that ^(B)I am the Lord who sanctifies Israel, when ^(C)my sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.”

4 ^(A)And seven women ^(B)shall take hold of ^(C)one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; ^(D)take away our reproach.”

The Branch of the Lord Glorified

² In that day ^(E)the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and ^(F)the fruit of the land shall be the pride and honor of the survivors of Israel.
