²⁶ I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them, and I will bless^[a] them and multiply them and will set my sanctuary among them forevermore.^(A)

²⁵ I will make with them a covenant of peace and banish wild animals from the land, so that they may live in the wild and sleep in the woods securely.^(A)

⁷ He said to me: “Mortal, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet, where I will reside among the people of Israel forever. The house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their prostitution and by sacrificing to their kings^[a] at their death.^[b](A)

¹¹ I will place my dwelling in your midst, and I shall not abhor you.^{(A) 12} I^[a] will be your God, and you shall be my people.^(B)

Benediction

²⁰ Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,^{(A) 21} make you complete in everything good^[a] so that you may do his will, as he works among us^[b] that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever.^[c] Amen.^(B)

¹⁶ What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we^[a] are the temple of the living God, as God said,
