^25 (A)They shall dwell in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children's children shall dwell there ^(B)forever, and David my servant shall be their prince ^(C)forever.

²⁴ “My servant ^(A)David ^(B)shall be king over them, and they shall all have ^(C)one shepherd. ^(D)They shall walk in my rules and be careful to obey my statutes.

Israel Gathered in Security

²⁵ “Thus says the Lord God: ^(A)When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and ^(B)manifest my holiness in them in the sight of the nations, ^(C)then they shall dwell in their own land that I gave to my servant Jacob.

Israel's Joy and Restoration

⁴⁴ And in the days of those kings ^(A)the God of heaven will set up ^(B)a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. ^(C)It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and ^(D)it shall stand forever, ⁴⁵ just as ^(E)you saw that ^(F)a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that ^(G)it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. A ^(H)great God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.”

^26 (A)I will make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be ^(B)an everlasting covenant with them. And I will set them in their land^[a] and ^(C)multiply them, and will ^(D)set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore.

²¹ then say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, ^(A)I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and ^(B)bring them to their own land.
