⁸ But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come.

²⁶ I will make them and the places all around ^(A)My hill ^(B)a blessing; and I will ^(C)cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be ^(D)showers of blessing. ²⁷ Then ^(E)the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have ^(F)broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who ^(G)enslaved them. ²⁸ And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the land devour them; but ^(H)they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid. ²⁹ I will raise up for them a ^(I)garden^[a] of renown, and they shall ^(J)no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, ^(K)nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore.

⁸ You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord ^[a]is at hand.

⁹ Do not ^[b]grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be ^[c]condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!

⁵ Let your ^[a]gentleness be known to all men. ^(A)The Lord is at hand.

^23 (A)On the mountain height of Israel I will plant it; and it will bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a majestic cedar. ^(B)Under it will dwell birds of every sort; in the shadow of its branches they will dwell.
