²⁹ I will save you from all your uncleannesses, and I will summon the grain and make it abundant and lay no famine upon you.^(A)

⁷ He came as a witness to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him. ⁸ He himself was not the light, but he came to testify to the light. ⁹ The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world.^[a](A)

²¹ She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”^(A)

¹⁴ He it is who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.^(A)

²⁶ And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

¹⁴ For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.^(A)

³³ But seek first the kingdom of God^[a] and his^[b] righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.^(A)

13 On that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.^(A)
