Blessing on Israel

36 “And you, son of man, prophesy to the ^(A)mountains of Israel, and say, ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord!

²² and ^(A)I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and ^(B)one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again.

⁴ Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!

⁸ But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come.

⁴ therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to the mountains, the hills, the ^[a]rivers, the valleys, the desolate wastes, and the cities that have been forsaken, which ^(A)became plunder and ^(B)mockery to the rest of the nations all around—

^14 (A)I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. ^(B)There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

^28 (A)For I will make the land most desolate, ^[a]her ^(B)arrogant strength shall cease, and ^(C)the mountains of Israel shall be so desolate that no one will pass through.

⁴⁷ and say to the forest of the South, ‘Hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, ^(A)I will kindle a fire in you, and it shall devour ^(B)every green tree and every dry tree in you; the blazing flame shall not be quenched, and all faces ^(C)from the south to the north shall be scorched by it.

² “Son of man, ^(A)set your face toward the ^(B)mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them, ³ and say, ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to the mountains, to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys: “Indeed I, even I, will bring a sword against you, and ^(C)I will destroy your ^[a]high places.
