¹¹ therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I will treat you in accordance with the anger^(A) and jealousy you showed in your hatred of them and I will make myself known among them when I judge you.^(B)

² For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.^(A)

¹¹ This is what the Lord says:

¹³ because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful.^(A) Mercy triumphs over judgment.

¹⁴ I will take vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they will deal with Edom in accordance with my anger^(A) and my wrath; they will know my vengeance, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”^(B)
