    against you they make a covenant—

    ^(D)Moab and ^(E)the Hagrites,
^7 (F)Gebal and ^(G)Ammon and ^(H)Amalek,
    ^(I)Philistia with the inhabitants of ^(J)Tyre;
^8 (K)Asshur also has joined them;
    they are the strong arm of ^(L)the children of Lot. Selah

48 ^(B)Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised
    in ^(C)the city of our God!
His ^(D)holy mountain, ^2 (E)beautiful in elevation,
    is ^(F)the joy of all the earth,
Mount Zion, in the far north,
    ^(G)the city of the great King.
³ Within her citadels God
    has made himself known as a fortress.

¹⁵ The Lord has taken away the judgments against you;
    he has cleared away your enemies.
^(A)The King of Israel, ^(B)the Lord, is in your midst;
    you shall never again fear evil.

^13 (A)Do not enter the gate of my people
    in the day of their calamity;
^(B)do not gloat over his disaster
    in the day of his calamity;
^(C)do not loot his wealth
