⁶ they wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. My sheep were scattered over all the face of the earth, ^(A)with none to search or seek for them.

²⁵ For ^(A)you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to ^(B)the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

¹⁶ And ^(A)I have other sheep that are not of this fold. ^(B)I must bring them also, and ^(C)they will listen to my voice. So there will be ^(D)one flock, ^(E)one shepherd.

^16 (A)And if any survivors escape, they will be on the mountains, like ^(B)doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, each one over his iniquity.

¹¹ Likewise, when all the Judeans who were in ^(A)Moab and among ^(B)the Ammonites and in ^(C)Edom and in other lands heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant in Judah and had appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, as governor over them, ^12 (D)then all the Judeans returned from all the places to which they had been driven and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah at Mizpah.
