^4 (A)The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor ^(B)sought what was lost; but with ^(C)force and ^[a]cruelty you have ruled them.

^12 (A)“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? ¹³ And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.

^36 (A)But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were ^[a]weary and scattered, ^(B)like sheep having no shepherd.

^16 (A)“I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy ^(B)the fat and the strong, and feed them ^(C)in judgment.”

^6 (A)But go rather to the ^(B)lost sheep of the house of Israel.

¹⁵ And the Lord said to me, ^(A)“Next, take for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd. ¹⁶ For indeed I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for those who are cut off, nor seek the young, nor heal those that are broken, nor feed those that still stand. But he will eat the flesh of the fat and tear their hooves in ^(B)pieces.

⁵ And on her forehead a name was written:

^(A)MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS
OF THE EARTH.

⁶ I saw ^(B)the woman, drunk ^(C)with the blood of the saints and with the blood of ^(D)the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

¹³ So the Egyptians made the children of Israel ^(A)serve with ^[a]rigor. ¹⁴ And they ^(B)made their lives bitter with hard bondage—^(C)in mortar, in brick, and in all manner of service in the field. All their service in which they made them serve was with rigor.

^14 (A)And he deceives ^[a]those who dwell on the earth ^(B)by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword ^(C)and lived. ¹⁵ He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak ^(D)and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. ¹⁶ He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, ^(E)to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, ¹⁷ and that no one may buy or sell except one who has ^[b]the mark or ^(F)the name of the beast, ^(G)or the number of his name.
