³¹ You are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture,^[a] and I am your God, says the Lord God.^(A)

¹⁶ I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.^(A)

³⁸ Like a consecrated flock, like the flock at Jerusalem during her appointed festivals, so shall the ruined towns be filled with flocks of people. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.^(A)

Prayer for Israel’s Restoration

To the leader: on Lilies, a Covenant. Of Asaph. A Psalm.

²⁸ Keep watch over yourselves and over all the flock, of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God^[a] that he obtained with the blood of his own Son.^[b](A)

¹⁵ Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, “Sir,^[a] if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”^{(A) 16} Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to him in Hebrew,^[b] “Rabbouni!” (which means Teacher). ¹⁷ Jesus said to her, “Do not touch me, because I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”^(B)

²⁶ but you do not believe because you do not belong to my sheep.^{(A) 27} My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me.^{(B) 28} I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand.^{(C) 29} My Father, in regard to what he has given me, is greater than all,^[a] and no one can snatch them out of the Father’s hand.^{(D) 30} The Father and I are one.”
