¹⁸ Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture; and to drink of ^(A)clear water, that you must muddy the rest of the water with your feet?

⁵² Woe to you ^(A)lawyers! ^(B)For you have taken away the key of ^(C)knowledge. You ^(D)did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.”

¹³ “But woe ^(A)to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you ^(B)shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you ^(C)neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.^[a]

^2 (A)“Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord God: ^(B)Ah, shepherds of Israel ^(C)who have been feeding yourselves! ^(D)Should not shepherds feed the sheep? ^3 (E)You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, ^(F)you slaughter the fat ones, but you do not feed the sheep.

^2 (A)“Son of man, ^(B)raise a lamentation over ^(C)Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him:

^47 (A)Not only did you walk in their ways and do according to their abominations; within a very little time ^(B)you were more corrupt than they in all your ways.

¹³ And he^[a] said, “Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you ^(A)weary my God also?

¹⁹ And yet this was a small thing in your eyes, O Lord God. ^(A)You have spoken also of your servant's house for a great while to come, and this is instruction for mankind, O Lord God!

¹³ Is it ^(A)a small thing that you have brought us up out of ^(B)a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, that you must also ^(C)make yourself a prince over us?
