¹⁰ See, the Lord God comes with might,
    and his arm rules for him;
his reward is with him
    and his recompense before him.^(A)
11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd;
    he will gather the lambs in his arms
and carry them in his bosom
    and gently lead the mother sheep.^(B)

⁸ See, I am going to bring them from the land of the north
    and gather them from the farthest parts of the earth,
among them the blind and the lame,
    those with child and those in labor together;
    a great company, they shall return here.^(A)

⁸ Thus says the Lord God,
    who gathers the outcasts of Israel:
I will gather others to them
    besides those already gathered.^[a](A)

¹² I made the earth
    and created humankind upon it;
it was my hands that stretched out the heavens,
    and I commanded all their host.^(A)

¹ Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel,
    you who lead Joseph like a flock!
You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth^(A)

¹ The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.^(A)
2     He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me beside still waters;^[a](B)
3     he restores my soul.^[b]
He leads me in right paths^[c]
    for his name’s sake.^(C)
