^9 (A)But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, ^(B)that person shall die in his iniquity, ^(C)but you will have delivered your soul.

^19 (A)But if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die for his iniquity, ^(B)but you ^(C)will have delivered your soul.

²⁶ Therefore ^(A)I testify to you this day that ^(B)I am innocent of the blood of all,

²¹ But if you warn the righteous person not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning, and you will have delivered your soul.”

²⁵ See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For ^(A)if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven.

^3 (A)how shall we escape if we ^(B)neglect such a great salvation? It was ^(C)declared at first by the Lord, and it was ^(D)attested to us ^(E)by those who heard,

¹⁴ And we urge you, brothers, admonish ^(A)the idle,^{[a] (B)}encourage the fainthearted, ^(C)help the weak, ^(D)be patient with them all.

³ For this is the will of God, ^(A)your sanctification:^{[a] (B)}that you abstain from sexual immorality; ⁴ that each one of you know how to control his own ^(C)body^[b] in holiness and ^(D)honor, ⁵ not in ^(E)the passion of lust ^(F)like the Gentiles ^(G)who do not know God; ⁶ that no one transgress and ^(H)wrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is ^(I)an avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. ⁷ For ^(J)God has not called us for ^(K)impurity, but in holiness. ⁸ Therefore ^(L)whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, ^(M)who gives his Holy Spirit to you.
