¹⁷ I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful punishments. Then they shall know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance on them.^(A)

¹⁴ I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall act in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord God.^(A)

¹¹ and I will execute judgments upon Moab. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.

¹⁵ You shall be^[a] a mockery and a taunt, a warning and a horror, to the nations around you when I execute judgments on you in anger and fury and with furious punishments—I, the Lord, have spoken^(A)—

⁵ I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and Ammon a fold for flocks. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.^(A)

⁷ The slain shall fall in your midst; then you shall know that I am the Lord.^(A)
