¹⁴ “I will not punish your daughters
    when they turn to prostitution,
nor your daughters-in-law
    when they commit adultery,
because the men themselves consort with harlots^(A)
    and sacrifice with shrine prostitutes^(B)—
    a people without understanding^(C) will come to ruin!^(D)

¹⁰ “They will eat but not have enough;^(A)
    they will engage in prostitution^(B) but not flourish,
because they have deserted^(C) the Lord
    to give themselves

“He eats at the mountain shrines.^(A)
He defiles his neighbor’s wife.

⁶ He does not eat at the mountain^(A) shrines
    or look to the idols^(B) of Israel.
He does not defile his neighbor’s wife
    or have sexual relations with a woman during her period.^(C)

“Now have come the salvation^(G) and the power
    and the kingdom of our God,
    and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,^(H)
    who accuses them before our God day and night,
    has been hurled down.
