The Lord Will Restore Israel

^33 (A)“As I live, declares the Lord God, ^(B)surely with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and ^(C)with wrath poured out I will be king over you.

^8 (A)But they rebelled against me and were not willing to listen to me. ^(B)None of them cast away the detestable things their eyes feasted on, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt.

“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them ^(C)and spend my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

The Seven Bowls of God's Wrath

16 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling ^(A)the seven angels, “Go and ^(B)pour out on the earth ^(C)the seven bowls of the wrath of God.”

³¹ Therefore ^(A)I have poured out my indignation upon them. I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath. I have returned ^(B)their way upon their heads, declares the Lord God.”

¹⁶ And ^(A)you shall be profaned by your own doing ^(B)in the sight of the nations, ^(C)and you shall know that I am the Lord.”
