²⁷ “Therefore, son of man, speak to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In this also your ancestors^(A) blasphemed^(B) me by being unfaithful to me:^(C)

²⁴ As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”^[a](A)

²⁷ But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’^(A) Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people.^(B)

¹¹ Go^(A) now to your people in exile and speak to them. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says,’^(B) whether they listen or fail to listen.^(C)”

⁴ He then said to me: “Son of man, go now to the people of Israel and speak my words to them.^(A)

⁷ You must speak^(A) my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.^(B)

⁵ The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies^(A) and to exercise its authority for forty-two months.^(B)

²⁴ “But if a righteous person turns^(A) from their righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked person does, will they live? None of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness^(B) they are guilty of and because of the sins they have committed, they will die.^(C)
