^6 (A)Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against him, and bound him in ^[a]bronze fetters to ^(B)carry him off to Babylon.

² “Son of man, ^(A)set your face toward the ^(B)mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

36 “And you, son of man, prophesy to the ^(A)mountains of Israel, and say, ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord!

³⁰ Therefore thus says the Lord concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah: ^(A)“He shall have no one to sit on the throne of David, and his dead body shall be ^(B)cast out to the heat of the day and the frost of the night. ³¹ I will punish him, his ^[a]family, and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring on them, on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and on the men of Judah all the doom that I have pronounced against them; but they did not heed.” ’ ”

¹⁸ Therefore thus says the Lord concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah:

¹⁵ And ^(A)he carried Jehoiachin captive to Babylon. The king’s mother, the king’s wives, his officers, and the mighty of the land he carried into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
