^6 (A)Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon ^(B)and bound him in chains ^(C)to take him to Babylon.

^2 (A)“Son of man, ^(B)set your face toward ^(C)the mountains of Israel, and ^(D)prophesy against them,

Prophecy to the Mountains of Israel

36 “And you, ^(A)son of man, prophesy to ^(B)the mountains of Israel, and say, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord.

³⁰ Therefore thus says the Lord concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah: ^(A)He shall have none ^(B)to sit on the throne of David, ^(C)and his dead body shall be cast out to the heat by day and the frost by night. ^31 (D)And I will punish him and his offspring and his servants for their iniquity. I will bring upon them and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem and upon the people of Judah all the disaster that I have pronounced against them, but they would not hear.’”

¹⁸ Therefore thus says the Lord concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah:

^15 (A)And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon. The king's mother, the king's wives, his officials, and the chief men of the land he took into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
