¹⁹ And take heed, lest you ^(A)lift your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and the stars, ^(B)all the host of heaven, you feel driven to ^(C)worship them and serve them, which the Lord your God has ^[a]given to all the peoples under the whole heaven as a heritage.

⁹ In you are ^(A)men who slander to cause bloodshed; ^(B)in you are those who eat on the mountains; in your midst they commit lewdness. ¹⁰ In you men ^(C)uncover their fathers’ nakedness; in you they violate women who are ^(D)set apart during their impurity. ¹¹ One commits abomination ^(E)with his neighbor’s wife; ^(F)another lewdly defiles his daughter-in-law; and another in you violates his sister, his father’s ^(G)daughter.

^24 (A)because they had not executed My judgments, but had despised My statutes, profaned My Sabbaths, and ^(B)their eyes were fixed on their fathers’ idols.

¹³ Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when their slain are among their idols all around their altars, ^(A)on every high hill, ^(B)on all the mountaintops, ^(C)under every green tree, and under every thick oak, wherever they offered sweet incense to all their idols.

^2 (A)They invited the people to ^(B)the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and ^(C)bowed down to their gods.

^18 (A)If a man lies with a woman during her ^[a]sickness and uncovers her nakedness, he has ^[b]exposed her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both of them shall be ^[c]cut off from their people.
