^7 (A)“And there was another great eagle with great wings and much plumage, ^(B)and behold, this vine bent its roots toward him and shot forth its branches toward him from ^(C)the bed where it was planted, that he might water it.

^15 (A)But he rebelled against him by sending his ambassadors ^(B)to Egypt, that they might give him horses and a large army. ^(C)Will he thrive? Can one escape who does such things? Can he ^(D)break the covenant and yet escape?

^5 (A)The army of Pharaoh had come out of Egypt. And when ^(B)the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news about them, ^(C)they withdrew from Jerusalem.

¹³ Under their command was an army of ^(A)307,500, who could make war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.
