¹⁰ I clothed you in embroidered cloth and gave you sandals of ^[a]badger skin; I clothed you with fine linen and covered you with silk.

¹⁸ You took your embroidered garments and covered them, and you set My oil and My incense before them.

¹³ Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. ^(A)You ate pastry of fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly ^(B)beautiful, and succeeded to royalty.

^36 (A)“You shall make a screen for the door of the tabernacle, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver.

¹⁶ Syria was your merchant because of the abundance of goods you made. They gave you for your wares emeralds, purple, embroidery, fine linen, corals, and rubies.

² Then I, ^[a]John, saw ^(A)the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared ^(B)as a bride adorned for her husband.

⁸ And ^(A)to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, ^(B)for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

^12 (A)merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble;

A Multitude from the Great Tribulation

⁹ After these things I looked, and behold, ^(A)a great multitude which no one could number, ^(B)of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, ^(C)clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, ¹⁰ and crying out with a loud voice, saying, ^(D)“Salvation belongs to our God ^(E)who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” ^11 (F)All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and ^(G)worshiped God, ^12 (H)saying:

¹³ Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in ^(I)white robes, and where did they come from?”

¹⁴ And I said to him, ^[a]“Sir, you know.”
