28 (A)Let the prophet who has a dream (B)tell the dream, but let him who has my word speak my word faithfully. (C)What has straw in common with wheat? declares the Lord. 29 (D)Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and (E)like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? 30 (F)Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, declares the Lord, who steal my words from one another. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets, declares the Lord, who use their tongues and declare, ‘declares the Lord.’ 32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, declares the Lord, and who tell them and (G)lead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness, when (H)I did not send them or charge them. So they do not profit this people at all, declares the Lord.

(G)For you are like unmarked graves, and people walk over them without knowing it.”

45 One of (H)the lawyers answered him, “Teacher, in saying these things you insult us also.” 46 And he said, “Woe to you (I)lawyers also! 16 “Woe to (G)you, (H)blind guides, who say, (I)‘If anyone swears by the temple, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’ 17 You blind fools! 27 (AB)“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like (AC)whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people's bones and (AD)all uncleanness. 28 So you also (AE)outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of (AF)hypocrisy and lawlessness.
