^4 (A)Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the ^[a]temple; and ^(B)the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord’s ^(C)glory.

^28 (A)Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. ^(B)This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

Ezekiel Sent to Rebellious Israel

So when I saw it, ^(C)I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

³ Now ^(A)the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the ^[a]temple. And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn at his side;

^8 (A)The temple was filled with smoke ^(B)from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

²² So the cherubim ^(A)lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel was high above them. ²³ And ^(B)the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city and stood ^(C)on the mountain, ^(D)which is on the east side of the city.

¹⁸ Then ^(A)the glory of the Lord ^(B)departed from the threshold of the ^[a]temple and stood over the cherubim.

¹³ indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying:

that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, ¹⁴ so that the priests could not ^[a]continue ministering because of the cloud; ^(B)for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.

³⁵ And Moses ^(A)was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

^9 (A)‘The glory of this latter ^[a]temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give ^(B)peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
