^15 (A)And the cherubim mounted up. These were ^(B)the living creatures that I saw by ^(C)the Chebar canal.

⁵ And from the midst of it came the likeness of ^(A)four living creatures. ^(B)And this was their appearance: they had a human likeness,

³ And ^(A)the vision I saw was just like the vision that I had seen ^(B)when he^[a] came to destroy the city, and just like ^(C)the vision that I had seen ^(D)by the Chebar canal. And ^(E)I fell on my face.

^22 (A)Then the cherubim lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them, ^(B)and the glory of the God of Israel was over them.

^18 (A)Then ^(B)the glory of the Lord went out from the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim. ^19 (C)And the cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth ^(D)before my eyes as they went out, with the wheels beside them. And they stood at the entrance of the ^(E)east gate of the house of the Lord, and ^(F)the glory of the God of Israel was over them.

^20 (G)These were the living creatures that I saw ^(H)underneath the God of Israel by ^(I)the Chebar canal; and I knew that they were cherubim.

⁶ And he said to me, “Son of man, ^(A)do you see what they are doing, ^(B)the great abominations that the house of Israel are committing here, ^(C)to drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see still greater abominations.”

¹³ As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was ^(A)like burning coals of fire, ^(B)like the appearance of torches moving to and fro among the living creatures. ^(C)And the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. ¹⁴ And the living creatures ^(D)darted to and fro, ^(E)like the appearance of a flash of lightning.

³ the word of the Lord came to Ezekiel ^(A)the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by ^(B)the Chebar canal, and ^(C)the hand of the Lord was upon him there.
