¹³ As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, ^(A)like the appearance of torches going back and forth among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and out of the fire went lightning.

⁵ And from the throne proceeded ^(A)lightnings, ^[a]thunderings, and voices. ^(B)Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are ^(C)the^[b] seven Spirits of God.

⁵ I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, a certain man clothed in ^(A)linen, whose waist was ^(B)girded with gold of Uphaz! ⁶ His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, ^(C)and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude.

⁷ Their ^[a]legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the soles of calves’ feet. They sparkled ^(A)like the color of burnished bronze.

¹⁷ And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that ^(A)passed between those pieces.
