¹³ As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was ^(A)like burning coals of fire, ^(B)like the appearance of torches moving to and fro among the living creatures. ^(C)And the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

^5 (A)I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, ^(B)a man clothed in linen, ^(C)with a belt of fine ^(D)gold from Uphaz around his waist. ⁶ His body was like ^(E)beryl, his face ^(F)like the appearance of lightning, ^(G)his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and ^(H)legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and ^(I)the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.

⁷ Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf's foot. And they sparkled ^(A)like burnished bronze.

¹⁷ When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces.
