³⁰ The best of all the firstfruits^(A) and of all your special gifts will belong to the priests. You are to give them the first portion of your ground meal^(B) so that a blessing^(C) may rest on your household.^(D)

¹⁰ and Azariah the chief priest, from the family of Zadok,^(A) answered, “Since the people began to bring their contributions to the temple of the Lord, we have had enough to eat and plenty to spare, because the Lord has blessed his people, and this great amount is left over.”^(B)

⁴ You are to give them the firstfruits of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the first wool from the shearing of your sheep,^(A)

¹² “I give you all the finest olive oil and all the finest new wine and grain^(A) they give the Lord^(B) as the firstfruits of their harvest.^{(C) 13} All the land’s firstfruits that they bring to the Lord will be yours.^(D) Everyone in your household who is ceremonially clean may eat it.^(E)

¹⁴ “Everything in Israel that is devoted^[a] to the Lord^(F) is yours. ¹⁵ The first offspring of every womb, both human and animal, that is offered to the Lord is yours.^(G) But you must redeem^(H) every firstborn^(I) son and every firstborn male of unclean animals.^{(J) 16} When they are a month old,^(K) you must redeem them at the redemption price set at five shekels^[b](L) of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel,^(M) which weighs twenty gerahs.^(N)

¹⁷ “But you must not redeem the firstborn of a cow, a sheep or a goat; they are holy.^(O) Splash their blood^(P) against the altar and burn their fat^(Q) as a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^{(R) 18} Their meat is to be yours, just as the breast of the wave offering^(S) and the right thigh are yours.^(T)
