Ezechiele 8
La Nuova Diodati
8 Nel sesto anno, nel sesto mese, il cinque del mese, avvenne che mentre ero seduto in casa mia e gli anziani di Giuda stavano seduti di fronte a me, la mano del Signore, l'Eterno, cadde in quel luogo su di me.
2 Io guardai, ed ecco una figura di uomo dall'aspetto di fuoco; da ciò che sembravano i suoi lombi, in giú pareva di fuoco, e da ciò che sembravano i suoi lombi in su pareva splendente come il colore di bronzo incandescente,
3 Egli stese una forma di mano e mi afferrò per una ciocca dei miei capelli, e lo Spirito mi sollevò fra terra e cielo e mi trasportò in visioni di DIO a Gerusalemme, all'ingresso della porta interna che guarda a nord, dove era posto l'idolo della gelosia, che provoca a gelosia.
4 Ed ecco, là era la gloria del DIO d'Israele, simile alla visione che avevo visto nella pianura.
5 Quindi egli mi disse: «Figlio d'uomo, alza ora i tuoi occhi verso il nord». Cosí alzai i miei occhi verso il nord, ed ecco, a nord della porta dell'altare, proprio all'ingresso, c'era l'idolo della gelosia.
6 Ed egli mi disse: «Figlio d'uomo, vedi ciò che fanno costoro, le grandi abominazioni che qui commette la casa d'Israele e che mi fanno allontanare dal mio santuario? Ma tu vedrai abominazioni ancora piú grandi».
7 Cosí egli mi condusse all'ingresso del cortile. Io guardai, ed ecco un buco nella parete.
8 Allora mi disse: «Figlio d'uomo, fa' un foro nella parete». Cosí feci un foro nella parete, ed ecco un'apertura.
9 Egli mi disse: «Entra e guarda le malvagie abominazioni che costoro commettono qui».
10 Cosí entrai a guardare, ed ecco ogni sorta di rettili e di bestie abominevoli e tutti gl'idoli della casa d'Israele, intagliati tutt'intorno sulla parete.
11 E davanti ad essi stavano settanta uomini fra gli anziani della casa d'Israele, in mezzo ai quali era Jaazaniah, figlio di Shafan, ciascuno con il suo turibolo in mano, dal quale saliva una densa nuvola d'incenso.
12 Quindi mi disse: «Figlio d'uomo, hai visto ciò che gli anziani della casa d'Israele fanno nell'oscurità, ciascuno nella camera delle sue immagini? Infatti dicono: "L'Eterno non ci vede, l'Eterno ha abbandonato il paese.
13 Poi mi disse: «Tu vedrai abominazioni ancora piú grandi che commettono».
14 Allora mi condusse all'ingresso della porta della casa dell'Eterno, che è verso il nord; ed ecco, là sedevano donne che piangevano Tammuz.
15 Quindi mi disse: «Hai visto, figlio d'uomo? Tu vedrai abominazioni ancora piú grandi di queste».
16 Allora mi condusse nel cortile interno della casa dell'Eterno; ed ecco, all'ingresso del tempio, dell'Eterno, fra il portico e l'altare, circa venticinque uomini, con le spalle voltate al tempio dell'Eterno e la faccia rivolta a est, che adoravano il sole a est.
17 Poi mi disse: «Hai visto, figlio d'uomo? E' forse piccola cosa per la casa di Giuda commettere le abominazioni che commette qui? Essi infatti hanno riempito il paese di violenza e mi hanno ripetutamente provocato ad ira. Ed ecco, si portano il ramo al naso.
18 Perciò anch'io agirò con furore; il mio occhio non avrà compassione e non userò alcuna pietà. Anche se faranno pervenire alte grida ai miei orecchi, non li ascolterò».

8 В шестом году, в пятый день шестого месяца (17 сентября 592 г. до н. э.), когда я сидел у себя дома, и старейшины Иудеи сидели передо мной, рука Владыки Вечного снизошла на меня там. 2 Я посмотрел и увидел Кого-то, похожего на человека, Который был как бы из огня. Ниже пояса Он был похож на огонь, а выше пояса Он сверкал, как сияющий металл. 3 Он простёр подобие руки и взял меня за волосы. Дух поднял меня между землёй и небом и в видениях Аллаха принёс меня в Иерусалим, ко входу в северные ворота внутреннего двора, где находился идол, возбуждающий ревность Аллаха. 4 И вот, там предо мной явилась слава Бога Исраила, как в том видении, которое я видел на равнине. 5 И Аллах сказал мне:
– Смертный, посмотри на север.
Я посмотрел – и с северной стороны у ворот жертвенника увидел идола, возбуждающего ревность.
6 Аллах сказал мне:
– Смертный, ты видишь, что они делают, – эти страшные мерзости, которые народ Исраила творит здесь, чтобы удалить Меня из Моего святилища? Но ты увидишь ещё большие мерзости.
7 Он привёл меня ко входу во двор. Я посмотрел и увидел отверстие в стене.
8 Он сказал мне:
– Смертный, прокопай стену.
Я прокопал и увидел какую-то дверь.
9 Он сказал мне:
– Войди и посмотри на гнусные мерзости, которые они здесь творят.
10 Я вошёл, посмотрел и увидел нарисованные на стенах кругом изображения всяких ползучих тварей, мерзких животных и всех идолов исраильтян. 11 Перед ними стояли семьдесят старейшин народа Исраила, и Иазания, сын Шафана, стоял среди них. Каждый держал в руке сосуд для возжигания благовоний, откуда поднималось ароматное облако дыма.
12 Аллах сказал мне:
– Смертный, ты видел, что старейшины народа Исраила творят во мраке, каждый в капище своего лжебога? Они говорят: «Вечный не видит нас; Вечный бросил страну».
13 И опять Он сказал мне:
– Ты увидишь ещё большие мерзости, которые они делают.
14 Он привёл меня ко входу в северные ворота дома Вечного, и я увидел сидящих там женщин, которые оплакивали Таммуза[a].
15 Он сказал мне:
– Видишь это, смертный? Ты увидишь ещё большие мерзости.
16 Он ввёл меня во внутренний двор дома Вечного; там, у входа в храм, между притвором и жертвенником, находилось около двадцати пяти мужчин. Обратившись спиной к храму Вечного, а лицами на восток, они поклонялись солнцу на востоке.
17 Он сказал мне:
– Видел это, смертный? Разве не достаточно скверно для народа Иудеи совершать те мерзости, которые они здесь творят? Зачем они наполняют страну насилием и возбуждают Мой гнев ещё сильнее? Гляди, как они подносят ветви к своим носам[b]! 18 За это Я изолью на них Свой гнев; Я не посмотрю на них с жалостью и не пощажу. Пусть кричат Мне в самые уши, Я не стану их слушать.

King James Version
8 And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord God fell there upon me.
2 Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.
3 And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.
5 Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
7 And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.
11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth.
13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
16 And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
