25 Cuvântul Domnului a venit la mine şi mi-a zis: 2 „Fiul omului, îndreaptă-ţi faţa spre amoniţi şi profeţeşte împotriva lor. 3 Să le spui amoniţilor astfel: «Ascultaţi Cuvântul Stăpânului Domn! Aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: ‘Pentru că aţi râs de Lăcaşul Meu când era pângărit, de ţara lui Israel când era pustiită şi de Casa lui Iuda când mergea în captivitate, 4 iată, vă dau în stăpânirea neamurilor Răsăritului. Ei îşi vor aşeza taberele în mijlocul vostru şi îşi vor ridica locuinţe printre voi; vă vor mânca roadele şi vă vor bea laptele. 5 Voi face din Raba o păşune pentru cămile şi din ţara amoniţilor o stână de oi. Şi veţi şti astfel că Eu sunt Domnul.’
6 Căci aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: ‘Pentru că ai bătut din mâini şi ai dat din picioare, pentru că te-ai bucurat însufleţită de atâta dispreţ faţă de ţara lui Israel, 7 iată, Îmi întind mâna împotriva ta şi te dau ca pradă neamurilor. Te voi tăia din rândul popoarelor, te voi şterge din rândul ţărilor şi te voi nimici. Şi vei şti astfel că Eu sunt Domnul’»“.
Profeţie împotriva moabiţilor
8 Aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: „Pentru că Moabul şi Seirul au zis[a]: «Iată, Casa lui Iuda este ca toate celelalte neamuri!», 9 de aceea iată, deschid ţinutul Moabului dinspre cetăţi, dinspre cetăţile lui[b] de la hotar, care sunt măreţia ţării, şi anume: Bet-Ieşimot, Baal-Meon şi Chiriatayim. 10 Îl deschid şi-l dau în stăpânirea popoarelor din Răsărit, alături de amoniţi, ca Moab să nu mai fie amintit printre neamuri, ca în cazul amoniţilor. 11 Îmi voi împlini astfel judecăţile împotriva Moabului. Şi vor şti că Eu sunt Domnul.“
Profeţie împotriva edomiţilor
12 Aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: „Pentru că Edomul s-a dedat la răzbunare faţă de Casa lui Iuda, pentru că s-a făcut vinovat şi s-a răzbunat pe ea, 13 aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: «Îmi voi întinde mâna împotriva Edomului şi voi nimici din el atât oamenii, cât şi animalele. Îl voi preface într-o ruină şi, de la Teman la Dedan, toţi vor fi răpuşi de sabie. 14 Răzbunarea Mea împotriva Edomului va veni prin mâna poporului Meu Israel. El îi va face Edomului după mânia şi furia Mea şi astfel acesta va recunoaşte răzbunarea Mea, zice Stăpânul Domn.»“
Profeţie împotriva filistenilor
15 Aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: „Pentru că filistenii s-au dedat la răzbunare, pentru că s-au răzbunat însufleţiţi de dispreţ, cu dorinţă de nimicire, din cauza urii lor străvechi, 16 aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: «Îmi voi întinde mâna împotriva filistenilor, îi voi nimici pe cheretiţi şi voi prăpădi ce a mai rămas pe coasta mării. 17 Le voi face parte de răzbunările Mele cele mari, aducând asupra lor straşnice pedepse. Când mă voi răzbuna pe ei, vor şti că Eu sunt Domnul.»“

25 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, (A)set your face (B)against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them. 3 Say to the Ammonites, ‘Hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God: (C)“Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity, 4 indeed, therefore, I will deliver you as a possession to the [a]men of the East, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings among you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 5 And I will make (D)Rabbah (E)a stable for camels and Ammon a resting place for flocks. (F)Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”
6 ‘For thus says the Lord God: “Because you (G)clapped your hands, stamped your feet, and (H)rejoiced in heart with all your disdain for the land of Israel, 7 indeed, therefore, I will (I)stretch out My hand against you, and give you as plunder to the nations; I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish from the countries; I will destroy you, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”
Proclamation Against Moab
8 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Because (J)Moab and (K)Seir say, ‘Look! The house of Judah is like all the nations,’ 9 therefore, behold, I will clear the territory of Moab of cities, of the cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and (L)Kirjathaim. 10 (M)To the men of the East I will give it as a possession, together with the Ammonites, that the Ammonites (N)may not be remembered among the nations. 11 And I will execute judgments upon Moab, and they shall know that I am the Lord.”
Proclamation Against Edom
12 ‘Thus says the Lord God: (O)“Because of what Edom did against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended by avenging itself on them,” 13 therefore thus says the Lord God: “I will also stretch out My hand against Edom, cut off man and beast from it, and make it desolate from Teman; [b]Dedan shall fall by the sword. 14 (P)I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel, that they may do in Edom according to My anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance,” says the Lord God.
Proclamation Against Philistia
15 ‘Thus says the Lord God: (Q)“Because (R)the Philistines dealt vengefully and took vengeance with [c]a spiteful heart, to destroy because of the [d]old hatred,” 16 therefore thus says the Lord God: (S)“I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the (T)Cherethites (U)and destroy the remnant of the seacoast. 17 I will (V)execute great vengeance on them with furious rebukes; (W)and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I lay My vengeance upon them.” ’ ”

Prophecy Against Ammon
25 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 (A)“Son of man, (B)set your face toward (C)the Ammonites and prophesy against them. 3 Say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God: (D)Thus says the Lord God, Because you said, (E)‘Aha!’ over my (F)sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah when they went into exile, 4 therefore behold, I am handing you over to (G)the people of the East for a possession, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings in your midst. They shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 5 I will make (H)Rabbah a (I)pasture for camels and Ammon[a] (J)a fold for flocks. 8 “Thus says the Lord God: Because (R)Moab and (S)Seir[b] said, ‘Behold, the (T)house of Judah is like all the other nations,’ 9 therefore (U)I will lay open the flank of Moab from the cities, from its cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, (V)Beth-jeshimoth, (W)Baal-meon, and (X)Kiriathaim. 10 I will give it (Y)along with the Ammonites (Z)to the people of the East as a possession, (AA)that the Ammonites may be remembered no more among the nations, 11 (AB)and I will execute judgments upon Moab. (AC)Then they will know that I am the Lord.
Prophecy Against Edom
12 “Thus says the Lord God: Because (AD)Edom acted revengefully against the house of Judah and has grievously offended (AE)in taking vengeance on them, 13 therefore thus says the Lord God, (AF)I will stretch out my hand against Edom and cut off from it man and beast. And I will make it desolate; from (AG)Teman even to (AH)Dedan they shall fall by the sword. 14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom (AI)by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and (AJ)they shall know my vengeance, declares the Lord God.
Prophecy Against Philistia
15 “Thus says the Lord God: Because (AK)the Philistines (AL)acted revengefully and took vengeance (AM)with malice of soul to destroy in never-ending enmity, 16 therefore thus says the Lord God, (AN)Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off (AO)the Cherethites and destroy the rest of the seacoast. 17 I will execute great vengeance on them (AP)with wrathful rebukes. (AQ)Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon them.”
