²⁴ Then the Lord did so. And ^[a]thick swarms of flies entered the house of Pharaoh and the houses of his servants, and the land was ^(A)laid waste because of the swarms of flies in all the land of Egypt.

⁷ Then ^(A)Pharaoh’s servants said to him, “How long shall this man be ^(B)a snare to us? Let the ^[a]people go, so that they may serve the Lord their God. Do you not yet ^[b]realize that Egypt is destroyed?”

³⁶ and the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have their request. Therefore they ^(A)plundered the Egyptians.
