13 And the Lord did as Moses asked. The frogs died in the houses, in the ·yards [courtyards], and in the fields. 14 The Egyptians put them in piles, and the whole country began to stink. 15 But when ·the king [L Pharaoh] saw that they were free of the frogs, he ·became stubborn again [L hardened his heart]. He did not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said.

13 So the Lord did according to the word of Moses. And the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courtyards, and out of the fields. 14 They gathered them together in heaps, and the land stank. 15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was (A)relief, (B)he hardened his heart and did not heed them, as the Lord had said.
