^5 (A)The Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I ^(B)stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the sons of Israel from their midst.”

¹⁷ Thus says the Lord, “^(A)By this you shall know that I am the Lord: behold, I will strike ^[a]the water that is in the Nile with the staff that is in my hand, and ^(B)it will be turned to blood.

¹⁰ Then he said, “Tomorrow.” So he said, “May it be according to your word, that you may know that there is ^(A)no one like the Lord our God.

² and ^(A)that you may tell in the ^[a]hearing of your son, and of your grandson, how I made a mockery of the Egyptians and how I ^[b]performed My signs among them, ^(B)that you may know that I am the Lord.”

⁴ Thus ^(A)I will ^[a]harden Pharaoh’s heart, and ^(B)he will chase after them; and I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, and ^(C)the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” And they did so.

^18 (A)Then the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord, when I am honored through Pharaoh, through his chariots and his horsemen.”

²⁵ He ^[a]caused their chariot wheels to swerve, and He made them drive with difficulty; so the Egyptians said, “Let ^[b]us flee from Israel, ^(A)for the Lord is fighting for them against the Egyptians.”
