²¹ And the Lord said to Moses, “When you go ^[a]back to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all ^(A)the wonders which I have put in your ^[b]power; but ^(B)I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.

³ But ^(A)I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that I may ^(B)multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.

¹² But ^(A)the Lord ^[a]hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not listen to them, just as the Lord had spoken to Moses.

The Plague of Locusts

10 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for ^(A)I have ^[a]hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, so that I may ^[b]perform these signs of Mine ^[c]among them,

²⁰ But ^(A)the Lord ^[a]hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the sons of Israel go.

²⁷ But ^(A)the Lord ^[a]hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was not willing to let them go.

¹⁰ So ^(A)Moses and Aaron performed all these wonders before Pharaoh; yet ^(B)the Lord ^[a]hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the sons of Israel go out of his land.

⁴ And ^(A)I will ^[a]harden Pharaoh’s heart, and ^(B)he will chase after them; and I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, and ^(C)the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” And they did so.

⁸ So ^(A)the Lord ^[a]hardened the heart of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and he chased after the sons of Israel as the sons of Israel were going out ^[b](B)boldly.
