Making the Ark of the Covenant
37 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood; it was two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. 2 He overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold around it. 3 He cast for it four rings of gold for its four feet, two rings on its one side and two rings on its other side. 4 He made poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold, 5 and put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark. 6 He made a mercy seat[a] of pure gold; two cubits and a half was its length, and a cubit and a half its width. 7 He made two cherubim of hammered gold; at the two ends of the mercy seat[b] he made them, 8 one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end; of one piece with the mercy seat[c] he made the cherubim at its two ends. 9 The cherubim spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat[d] with their wings. They faced one another; the faces of the cherubim were turned toward the mercy seat.[e]
Making the Table for the Bread of the Presence
10 He also made the table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high. 11 He overlaid it with pure gold, and made a molding of gold around it. 12 He made around it a rim a handbreadth wide, and made a molding of gold around the rim. 13 He cast for it four rings of gold, and fastened the rings to the four corners at its four legs. 14 The rings that held the poles used for carrying the table were close to the rim. 15 He made the poles of acacia wood to carry the table, and overlaid them with gold. 16 And he made the vessels of pure gold that were to be on the table, its plates and dishes for incense, and its bowls and flagons with which to pour drink offerings.
Making the Lampstand
17 He also made the lampstand of pure gold. The base and the shaft of the lampstand were made of hammered work; its cups, its calyxes, and its petals were of one piece with it. 18 There were six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; 19 three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with calyx and petals, on one branch, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with calyx and petals, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. 20 On the lampstand itself there were four cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyxes and petals. 21 There was a calyx of one piece with it under the first pair of branches, a calyx of one piece with it under the next pair of branches, and a calyx of one piece with it under the last pair of branches. 22 Their calyxes and their branches were of one piece with it, the whole of it one hammered piece of pure gold. 23 He made its seven lamps and its snuffers and its trays of pure gold. 24 He made it and all its utensils of a talent of pure gold.
Making the Altar of Incense
25 He made the altar of incense of acacia wood, one cubit long, and one cubit wide; it was square, and was two cubits high; its horns were of one piece with it. 26 He overlaid it with pure gold, its top, and its sides all around, and its horns; and he made for it a molding of gold all around, 27 and made two golden rings for it under its molding, on two opposite sides of it, to hold the poles with which to carry it. 28 And he made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.
Making the Anointing Oil and the Incense
29 He made the holy anointing oil also, and the pure fragrant incense, blended as by the perfumer.

Il candelabro d’oro
17 (C)Fece anche il candelabro d’oro puro; fece il candelabro lavorato al martello, con il suo piede e il suo tronco; i suoi calici, i suoi pomi e i suoi fiori erano tutti d’un pezzo con il candelabro. 18 Gli uscivano sei bracci dai lati: tre bracci del candelabro da un lato e tre bracci del candelabro dall’altro; 19 su uno dei bracci vi erano tre calici a forma di mandorla, con un pomo e un fiore; sull’altro braccio, tre calici a forma di mandorla, con un pomo e un fiore. Lo stesso per i sei bracci uscenti dal candelabro. 20 Nel tronco del candelabro vi erano quattro calici a forma di mandorla, con i loro pomi e i loro fiori. 21 Vi era un pomo sotto i due primi bracci che partivano dal candelabro; un pomo sotto i due seguenti bracci che partivano dal candelabro, e un pomo sotto i due ultimi bracci che partivano dal candelabro; così per i sei rami uscenti dal candelabro. 22 Questi pomi e questi bracci erano tutti d’un pezzo con il candelabro; il tutto era d’oro puro lavorato al martello. 23 Fece pure le sue lampade, in numero di sette, i suoi smoccolatoi e i suoi portasmoccolature d’oro puro. 24 Per fare il candelabro con tutti i suoi utensili impiegò un talento d’oro puro.
L’altare dei profumi
25 (D)Poi fece l’altare dei profumi, di legno d’acacia; la sua lunghezza era di un cubito e la sua larghezza di un cubito; era quadrato e aveva un’altezza di due cubiti; i suoi corni erano tutti d’un pezzo con esso. 26 Lo rivestì d’oro puro: il disopra, i suoi lati tutto intorno, i suoi corni; e gli fece una ghirlanda d’oro intorno. 27 Gli fece pure due anelli d’oro, sotto la ghirlanda, ai suoi due lati; li mise ai suoi due lati per passarvi le stanghe che servivano a portarlo. 28 Fece le stanghe di legno d’acacia e le rivestì d’oro.

2 Und er überzog sie mit reinem Gold inwendig und auswendig, und machte daran einen goldenen Kranz ringsum.
3 Und er goss für sie vier goldene Ringe an ihre vier Ecken, zwei Ringe auf der einen Seite und zwei Ringe auf der anderen Seite.
4 Und er stellte Tragstangen aus Akazienholz her und überzog sie mit Gold
5 und steckte die Stangen in die Ringe an den Seiten der Lade, damit man sie tragen konnte.
6 Und er fertigte den Sühnedeckel aus reinem Gold an, zweieinhalb Ellen war seine Länge und anderthalb Ellen seine Breite.
7 Und er fertigte zwei Cherubim aus Gold an; in getriebener Arbeit machte er sie, an den beiden Enden des Sühnedeckels,
8 einen Cherub an dem einen Ende und den anderen Cherub an dem anderen Ende; aus einem Stück mit dem Sühnedeckel machte er die Cherubim an den beiden Enden.
9 Und die Cherubim breiteten ihre Flügel darüber aus und schirmten mit ihren Flügeln den Sühnedeckel, und ihre Angesichter waren einander zugewandt; die Angesichter der Cherubim sahen auf den Sühnedeckel.
Der Schaubrottisch
10 Und er stellte den Tisch aus Akazienholz her; zwei Ellen war seine Länge und eine Elle seine Breite und anderthalb Ellen seine Höhe,
11 und er überzog ihn mit reinem Gold und versah ihn ringsum mit einem goldenen Kranz.
12 Und er brachte an ihm ringsum eine Leiste an, eine Handbreit hoch, und befestigte an seiner Leiste ringsum [wieder] einen goldenen Kranz.
13 Und er goss für ihn vier goldene Ringe und brachte sie an den vier Ecken seiner vier Füße an;
14 dicht unter der Leiste waren die Ringe, zur Aufnahme der Tragstangen, damit man den Tisch tragen konnte.
15 Und er machte die Tragstangen aus Akazienholz und überzog sie mit Gold, dass der Tisch damit getragen werden konnte.
16 Und er machte die Geräte auf dem Tisch aus reinem Gold, seine Schüsseln, seine Schalen, seine Opferschalen und seine Kannen, mit denen man [die Trankopfer] ausgießt.
Der goldene Leuchter
17 Und er fertigte den Leuchter aus reinem Gold an, in getriebener Arbeit machte er den Leuchter; sein Fuß und sein Schaft, seine Kelche, seine Knäufe und Blüten waren aus einem Stück mit ihm.
18 Und sechs Arme kamen aus seinen Seiten heraus, drei Arme aus einer Seite des Leuchters und drei Arme aus der anderen Seite des Leuchters.
19 An dem einen Arm waren drei Kelche wie Mandelblüten, dazu je ein Knauf und eine Blüte; und an dem anderen Arm waren drei Kelche wie Mandelblüten, dazu je ein Knauf und eine Blüte; auf diese Weise gingen die sechs Arme aus dem Leuchter hervor.
20 An dem Schaft des Leuchters aber waren vier Kelche wie Mandelblüten mit seinen Knäufen und Blüten,
21 nämlich ein Knauf unter zwei Armen, und [wieder] ein Knauf unter zwei Armen, und [noch] ein Knauf unter zwei Armen; so bei den sechs Armen, die aus ihm herauskamen.
22 Ihre Knäufe und Arme waren aus einem Stück mit ihm, das Ganze war eine getriebene Arbeit, aus reinem Gold.
23 Er machte auch seine sieben Lampen, seine Lichtscheren und seine Löschnäpfe aus reinem Gold.
24 Aus einem Talent[a] reinen Goldes machte er ihn und alle seine Geräte.
Der Räucheraltar
25 Er fertigte auch den Räucheraltar aus Akazienholz an, eine Elle lang und eine Elle breit, viereckig, und zwei Ellen hoch, und seine Hörner waren aus einem Stück mit ihm.
26 Und er überzog ihn mit reinem Gold, seine Platte und seine Wände ringsum und seine Hörner, und machte für ihn ringsum einen goldenen Kranz;
27 und er machte ihm zwei goldene Ringe unter dem Kranz an seinen beiden Seiten, an seinen beiden Wänden, und sie nahmen die Tragstangen auf, dass man ihn damit tragen konnte.
28 Und die Tragstangen machte er aus Akazienholz und überzog sie mit Gold.
29 Und er bereitete das heilige Salböl zu und das reine, wohlriechende Räucherwerk, nach der Kunst des Salbenbereiters.

37 Azután Becalél készített[a] egy ládát sittim fából, amelynek hosszúsága két és fél, szélessége és magassága pedig egyaránt másfél könyök[b] volt. 2 Beborította kívül-belül színarannyal, és felülre aranyszegélyt készített. 3 Öntött 4 karikát aranyból, és a láda négy sarkára erősítette azokat. Két karika volt az egyik oldalon, és kettő vele szemben. 4 Készített két rudat sittim fából, és azokat is bevonta arannyal. 5 Ezeket beleillesztette a láda oldalain lévő karikákba, hogy azok segítségével a láda hordozható legyen. 6 A láda fedelét[c] tiszta aranyból készítette. Ennek hossza és szélessége szintén két és fél, illetve másfél könyök volt.
7 Készített aranyból két kerub-szobrot a fedél két végére aranyból, ötvösmunkával és kovácsolással. 8 A fedelet és a kerub-szobrokat egyetlen darab aranyból alakította ki. 9 A kerub-szobrok kiterjesztett szárnyakkal egymás felé fordultak. Arcuk a fedél felé nézett, szárnyaikkal pedig betakarták a fedelet.
A szent kenyerek asztala(B)
10 Becalél készített egy asztalt sittim fából, amelynek hossza két, szélessége egy, és magassága másfél könyök volt. 11 Beborította tiszta arannyal, és fölül készített rá körös-körül aranyból egy peremet, 12 amely a fölső részén egy tenyérnyi széles[d] volt. Erre egy aranyszegélyt helyezett. 13 Készített 4 öntött aranykarikát, és fölerősítette azokat az asztal lábaira, a négy fölső saroknál, 14 a kerethez közel. Az aranykarikák tartják a rudakat, amelyekkel hordozzák az asztalt. 15 Készített két rudat sittim fából, és azokat is beborította arannyal. Ezeket beleillesztette a karikákba, hogy azok segítségével az asztal hordozható legyen. 16 Készített az asztalhoz színaranyból tálakat, csészéket, kanalakat, kancsókat és kelyheket az italáldozathoz.
Az arany mécstartó(C)
17 Becalél elkészítette a mécstartót is színaranyból, ötvösmunkával. Egyetlen darab aranyból készült az egész, kalapáccsal formálta minden részét az ötvösök mestersége szerint: az alapját, törzsét, oldalágait, gömbjeit és virág-formájú kelyheit. 18 A mécstartó törzséből jobbra is, balra is 3-3 oldalág indult, vagyis összesen 6 ága volt a törzsén kívül. 19 Mind a hat oldalágán 3-3 mandulavirág formájú kehely volt, s benne egy-egy gömb, a belőle induló szirmokkal.
20 A középső törzsén is ugyanilyen kelyhek, gömbök és virágok voltak, de egymás fölött négy rendben. 21 A törzsön lévő alsó 3 gömb fölött indultak az ágak jobbra és balra. Így indult ki 3 gömbtől összesen hat oldalág. 22 Az egész mécstartó, ágaival, virágaival, gömbjeivel és minden részével együtt egyetlen darab színaranyból készült, és kalapáccsal formálták ki. 23 Készített Becalél aranyból 7 olajmécsest, meg a mécsek gondozásához szükséges eszközöket és hamutartókat is. 24 Az egész mécstartó — a hozzá tartozó eszközökkel együtt — egy talentum[e] színaranyból készült.
Az illatáldozati oltár(D)
25 Elkészítette Becalél az illatáldozati oltárt is sittim fából, amelynek széle-hossza egy, magassága két könyök volt. Az oltár fölső négy sarkán egy-egy szarv alakú kiemelkedés volt, de az oltárral egy darabból kialakítva. 26 Az egészet teljesen bevonta tiszta arannyal, és a fölső részén egy körbe futópárkányt alakított ki. 27 Két átellenes oldalára 2-2 aranykarikát erősített a párkány alatt, az oltár sarka közelében. Ezekbe a karikákba helyezte a rudakat, amelyekkel az egész oltárt hordozni lehetett. 28 A két rudat is sittim fából készítette, s ezeket is bevonta arannyal.
29 Elkészítette a felkenetésre szolgáló szent olajat és jó illatú füstölőszert az illatszer-készítők mestersége szerint.

Le coffre de l’alliance et le propitiatoire[a]
37 Betsaléel fabriqua le coffre en bois d’acacia ; il avait cent vingt-cinq centimètres de long, soixante-quinze centimètres de large et soixante-quinze centimètres de haut. 2 Il le plaqua d’or pur à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur et le garnit d’une bordure d’or tout autour. 3 Il coula pour lui quatre anneaux d’or qu’il fixa à ses quatre coins, deux de chaque côté. 4 Il fit des barres en bois d’acacia qu’il plaqua d’or. 5 Il les engagea dans les anneaux le long des côtés du coffre pour qu’on puisse le porter.
6 Il fit le propitiatoire en or pur. Il avait cent vingt-cinq centimètres de long et soixante-quinze centimètres de large. 7 Il façonna au marteau deux chérubins en or massif qu’il fixa aux deux extrémités du propitiatoire 8 de manière à ce qu’ils fassent corps avec lui. 9 Les chérubins déployaient leurs ailes vers le haut pour couvrir le propitiatoire et se faisaient face, le regard dirigé vers le propitiatoire.
La table et ses accessoires[b]
10 Betsaléel fabriqua la table en bois d’acacia, d’un mètre de long, de cinquante centimètres de large et de soixante-quinze centimètres de haut. 11 Il la plaqua d’or pur et garnit son pourtour d’une bordure d’or. 12 Il lui fit un cadre de huit centimètres qu’il garnit d’une bordure d’or. 13 Il coula quatre anneaux d’or qu’il fixa aux quatre coins près des quatre pieds de la table. 14 Il plaça ces anneaux tout près du cadre pour recevoir les barres destinées à porter la table. 15 Il fit les barres en bois d’acacia et les plaqua d’or. Elles servaient à transporter la table. 16 Il fit d’or pur les accessoires qu’on devait mettre sur la table, les plats, les coupes, les bols et les carafes qui servaient aux libations.
Le chandelier et ses lampes[c]
17 Il fabriqua le chandelier en or pur ; le chandelier, son pied et sa tige furent travaillés au marteau ; des coupelles, calices et corolles en étaient issus. 18 Six branches en partaient latéralement, trois de chaque côté. 19 Chaque branche portait trois coupelles en forme de fleur d’amandier avec un calice et une corolle. Il en était ainsi des six branches du chandelier. 20 Le pied portait quatre coupelles en forme de fleur d’amandier avec un calice et une corolle : 21 il y avait un calice sous chacune des trois paires de branches du chandelier, correspondant aux six branches sortant du chandelier. 22 Ces calices et ces branches faisaient corps avec lui : le tout était fait d’une seule masse d’or pur martelé.
23 Il fabriqua aussi les sept lampes avec les pincettes et les mouchettes en or pur. 24 On employa trente kilogrammes d’or pur pour le chandelier et tous ses accessoires.
L’autel des parfums et le parfum
25 Betsaléel fabriqua l’autel des parfums en bois d’acacia, il était carré, de cinquante centimètres de côté, et était relevé aux angles de quatre cornes en saillie. Il avait un mètre de hauteur. 26 Il en plaqua d’or pur le plateau, les parois tout autour et les cornes et le garnit d’une bordure d’or qui en faisait le tour. 27 Il lui fit deux anneaux d’or qu’il fixa sous la bordure de part et d’autre, sur les deux parois, pour recevoir les barres servant à transporter l’autel. 28 Il fit ces barres en bois d’acacia plaqué d’or[d]. 29 Il fit faire l’huile d’onction sainte et le parfum aromatique pur par un parfumeur[e].
