Exodus 34:6-8

⁶And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord ^(A)God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in ^(B)goodness and ^(C)truth, ⁷^(D)keeping mercy for thousands, ^(E)forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, ^(F)by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”

⁸So Moses made haste and ^(G)bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped.

⁷Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

⁸And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
