28 So he was there with Yahweh (A)forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread or drink water. And [a](B)he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, (C)the Ten [b]Commandments.
The Shining Face of Moses
29 Now it happened when Moses was coming down from Mount Sinai (and the (D)two tablets of the testimony were in Moses’ hand as he was coming down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that (E)the skin of his face shone because of his speaking with Him. 30 Then Aaron and all the sons of Israel saw Moses, and behold, the skin of his face shone, and (F)they were afraid to come near him.

28 And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
