Moses Intercedes

¹² Then Moses said to the Lord, “See, You say to me, ‘^(A)Bring up this people!’ But You Yourself have not let me know ^(B)whom You will send with me. ^(C)Moreover, You have said, ‘I have known you by name, and you have also found favor in My sight.’ ¹³ Now then, if I have found favor in Your sight in any way, please ^(D)let me know Your ways so that I may know You, in order that I may find favor in Your sight. ^(E)Consider too, that this nation is Your people.”

²⁴ but let the one who boasts ^(A)boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who ^(B)exercises ^[a]mercy, justice, and righteousness on the earth; for I ^(C)delight in these things,” declares the Lord.

⁷ I will also give them a ^(A)heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be ^(B)My people, and I will be their God, for they will ^(C)return to Me wholeheartedly.

^14 (A)I am the good shepherd, and ^(B)I know My own, and My own know Me,

⁸ More than that, I count all things to be loss ^[a]in view of the surpassing value of ^[b](A)knowing ^(B)Christ Jesus my Lord, ^[c]for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ, ⁹ and may be found in Him, not having ^(C)a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, ^(D)the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, ¹⁰ that I may ^(E)know Him and ^(F)the power of His resurrection and ^[d](G)the fellowship of His sufferings, being ^(H)conformed to His death; ¹¹ if somehow I may ^(I)attain to the resurrection from the dead.
