¹⁴ God said to Moses, “I am who I am.”^[a] And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ^(A)‘I am has sent me to you.’” ¹⁵ God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘The Lord,^[b] the ^(B)God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is ^(C)my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.

²⁴ God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

The Word Became Flesh

1 ^(A)In the beginning was ^(B)the Word, and ^(C)the Word was with God, and ^(D)the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God.
