³⁶ Sacrifice a bull each day^(A) as a sin offering to make atonement^(B). Purify the altar by making atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrate^(C) it.

⁴⁹ To purify the house he is to take two birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop.^(A)

⁵² He shall purify the house with the bird’s blood, the fresh water, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet yarn.

¹⁹ The man who is clean is to sprinkle^(A) those who are unclean on the third and seventh days, and on the seventh day he is to purify them.^(B) Those who are being cleansed must wash their clothes^(C) and bathe with water, and that evening they will be clean.

²² “On the second day you are to offer a male goat without defect for a sin offering, and the altar is to be purified as it was purified with the bull. ²³ When you have finished purifying it, you are to offer a young bull and a ram from the flock, both without defect.^(A)

¹⁸ “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In the first month^(A) on the first day you are to take a young bull without defect^(B) and purify the sanctuary.^(C)
